Buffalo Trace OFC 1994 is a 25 year old Kentucky straight bourbon from the O.F.C. Series. The letters stand for Old Fashioned Copper, the name Colonel E.H. Taylor Jr. gave the distillery he christened in 1870. It was distilled in 1994 and aged for 25 years in new oak at Buffalo Trace Distillery in Frankfort, Kentucky.
The 75cl bottle is hand-cut crystal, dated to the year of distillation, and comes in a wooden display case.
Tasting notes describe caramel, vanilla and oak on the nose, a smooth, full-bodied palate of dark chocolate, dried fruit and spice, and a long, warm finish.
