Bulleit – Bourbon Frontier Whiskey (70cl)

Bulleit Bourbon, also known as Frontier Whiskey, is a Kentucky straight bourbon in a 70cl bottle. Its mash bill holds a noticeably higher share of rye than many traditional bourbons. It is aged in new, charred American white oak barrels, which add vanilla, caramel and toasted wood. The sweetness of the corn sits alongside the peppery spice of the rye. The nose brings dried orange peel, vanilla bean, pepper, sweet oak and a hint of maple syrup. On the palate there is caramel, nutmeg and toasted oak with warming spice and a touch of dried fruit. The finish is long, with sweet tobacco, a little smoke and lingering spice.
