Bulleit is a Kentucky straight bourbon inspired by a family recipe more than 150 years old. Its mash combines rye, corn and malted barley, and the rye content is especially high, which gives a bold, spicy character. Special yeast strains and filtered Kentucky limestone water are also part of the make.
The colour is russet, with a rich, oaky aroma. The palate is dry, clean and mellow, with hints of vanilla and honey, followed by a long, smoky finish.
