This is a 10 year old Bunnahabhain bottled independently by Cadenhead's, in a 70cl bottle at 46% ABV.
Bunnahabhain stands on the north-eastern corner of Islay, opposite Jura. It was built in 1881, and a long, winding road to the sea was laid first because the site was so remote. Its water comes from an underground spring, the Margadale, and is relatively low in peat for Islay.
The founders' descendants kept the distillery until 2003. Burn Stewart Distillers is its current owner.
