Bunnahabhain 18 Years Old is an Islay single malt from the distillery's own range, bottled at 46.3% in a 70cl bottle.
The distillery was built in 1881 on Islay's north-eastern corner, opposite Jura. It was remote enough that a long, winding road to the shore had to be made before building could begin. The water comes from an underground source, the Margadale river, and carries relatively little peat for Islay. Burn Stewart Distillers is the present owner.
