A Bunnahabhain single malt from the 1998 vintage, finished in Calvados casks and released as a Fèis Ìle 2022 edition. It is bottled at 49.7% in a 70cl bottle.
The distillery lies on the north-eastern corner of Islay, directly across the Sound from Jura. Building it in 1881 meant first constructing a long, curving road down to the sea. Its water comes from an underground source, the Margadale river, and is relatively low in peat for Islay.
