Bunnahabhain – 2004 Signatory (70cl, 61.2%)

This Islay single malt was distilled at Bunnahabhain in 2004 and bottled by Signatory at 61.2% ABV. It is sold in a 70cl bottle. Bunnahabhain lies on the north-eastern corner of Islay, looking across the Sound of Islay to Jura. When it was built in 1881 the site was so cut off that a long, winding road to the shore had to come first. The distillery draws its water from an underground spring, the Margadale river, which is relatively low in peat by Islay standards.
