A 2010 Bunnahabhain single malt from Islay, an independent bottling by Signatory, numbered #2 and bottled at 64.7% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
Bunnahabhain faces Jura from the north-eastern corner of Islay. Its isolation meant a long, curving road to the shore had to be built before the distillery was founded in 1881. The water comes from an underground spring, and the peat level is relatively modest for Islay. Ownership passed from the founders' descendants and Highland Distillers to Burn Stewart Distillers.
