A 2010 Bunnahabhain single malt from Islay, an independent bottling by The Nectar at 46% ABV, in a 70cl bottle. Bunnahabhain was built in 1881 on the north-eastern corner of Islay, facing the island of Jura across the Sound of Islay. The location was remote enough that a long, winding road to the sea came first. Water for making the whisky comes from an underground spring and is relatively low in peat for Islay.
