A 2013 Bunnahabhain Staoisha from Islay, bottled as a single malt at 56.9% in a 70cl bottle. It is released under the Best Dram name and carries a Bourbon designation.
Bunnahabhain stands on the north-eastern corner of Islay, facing the island of Jura. The site was so remote that a long, winding road down to the sea had to be built before the distillery could go up in 1881. Its water comes from an underground spring and is relatively low in peat for Islay.
