A 2014 Bunnahabhain Staoisha from Islay, bottled as a single malt at 55.7% in a 70cl bottle. It is released under the Best Dram name and carries a Bourbon designation.
The distillery lies on the north-eastern corner of Islay, opposite Jura. It was built in 1881, once a long, winding road to the sea had been laid. The water comes from an underground spring, the Margadale river. Highland Distillers, run by the founders' descendants, owned the site until 2003, and Burn Stewart Distillers owns it today.
