Burns Nectar (70cl, 40%)

Burns Nectar is a single malt Scotch whisky from a Highland distillery, bottled by House of MacDuff at 40% in a 70cl bottle. Colour has been added. It is a fairly young malt, with pronounced toffee notes alongside honey and nuts. It is put forward as an easy everyday dram and a fitting choice for Burns Night. In the tasting notes, the nose offers biscuit, honey, malt and strong toffee. The palate begins lightly floral, then turns to honey, almonds and sweet toffee again. The finish is fairly short and lightly peppery, with hints of tobacco and sultanas.
