Bushmills Original Irish Whiskey (70cl, 40%)

Bushmills Original is a blended Irish whiskey from the Old Bushmills Distillery in County Antrim, in a 70cl bottle at 40% ABV. It is triple distilled in copper pot stills and matured in American oak casks. The blend sets an unusually high share of triple-distilled single malt against a light grain whiskey. The distillery's licence to distil dates from 1608. The nose is floral, with fresh grass, crème brûlée sweetness, green apples and ripe pears over a faint trace of vanilla. The palate opens with honeyed sweetness, followed by the warmth of fresh pastry.
