Founder's 11th Anniversary Blend marks eleven years of Chattanooga Whiskey, which was founded in 2011 in Chattanooga, Tennessee. It is a solera-style American whiskey drawn from three charred oak barrels, bottled at 50% in a 750ml bottle.
Each barrel stands for a chapter of the distillery's story. The 1816RES barrel, 25% of the blend, holds the original 1816 recipe distilled in Lawrenceburg, Indiana, for the past. The SB091 barrel, 50%, holds Barrel 91 whiskey distilled in Chattanooga, for the present. The Infinity barrel, 25%, is an ever-evolving blend for the future.
The nose is cream soda, vanilla bean, toasted oak and cinnamon, with bergamot orange and rhubarb. The palate brings chocolate chip cannoli, caramel, berry cobbler, sweetened coffee, tobacco leaf and candied walnuts. The finish is medium-long, with birch beer, panna cotta and a clean toasted oak note.
