Clan Colla 7 Year Old is an Irish single grain whiskey, the first single grain in the Family Bond Series from Ahascragh Distillers. It is bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle, without chill-filtering or added colour.
The whiskey matured first in ex-bourbon casks and then received a finish in casks that previously held Panamanian rum. Clan Colla has been part of the series since 2021.
The nose offers vanilla and banana. The palate is light and buttery, with dried fruit and baking spices such as nutmeg and cinnamon. The finish is soft and warming, with spicy grain notes.
