Colonel E.H. Taylor Barrel Proof Rye (75cl)

Colonel E.H. Taylor Barrel Proof Rye is a Kentucky straight rye whiskey from Buffalo Trace in Frankfort. It is named after Colonel Edmund Haynes Taylor Jr., the 19th-century distiller who lobbied for the Bottled-in-Bond Act of 1897. It is bottled at natural barrel strength, without dilution or filtration, in a 75cl bottle. The nose is bold, with rye spice, dried fruit, vanilla and caramel. The palate is powerful, with rye grain spice, caramel, dark fruit and warm oak, and the long finish is led by cinnamon, pepper and rye grain.
