Colonel E.H. Taylor Four Grain Bourbon (75cl)

Colonel E.H. Taylor Four Grain is a Kentucky straight bourbon from Buffalo Trace in Frankfort. Its mashbill uses four grains, corn, rye, wheat and malted barley, where a standard bourbon uses three. It is a limited release and comes in the cylinder and tube packaging used across the E.H. Taylor range. The wheat softens the rye's spice, while the malted barley adds a light grain sweetness. The nose offers caramel, vanilla and clove with a little smokiness. The palate is full-bodied, with caramel and vanilla, rye spice and charred oak, and the finish is long and dry, with burnt sugar and barrel char.
