Colonel E.H. Taylor, Jr. Barrel Proof Batch 15 is a Kentucky straight bourbon from Buffalo Trace, released in 2026 and bottled at 127.9 proof (63.95% vol) in a 75cl bottle.
It is bottled without being reduced to a lower strength, which gives a more concentrated style of bourbon than the standard range.
The nose brings caramel, vanilla, dark cherry and brown sugar with toasted oak, leather and warm spice. The palate is full-bodied, with toffee, dark fruit, tobacco and barrel heat, and the finish is long and warming, with oak, caramel and leather.
