Colonel E.H. Taylor, Jr. Barrel Proof Bourbon Batch 15 (75cl)

Colonel E.H. Taylor, Jr. Barrel Proof is a Kentucky straight bourbon from Buffalo Trace Distillery, in Batch 15 form and a 750ml bottle. It is bottled straight from the barrel at cask strength, uncut and unfiltered, so the proof varies from one batch to the next. It belongs to the E.H. Taylor, Jr. range and is a limited-allocation release. The nose brings caramel, vanilla, toasted oak, dark fruit and baking spice. The palate is full and powerful, with brown sugar, oak, cinnamon and leather, and the long, warming finish carries oak, spice and caramel.
