Colonel E.H. Taylor Small Batch (75cl, 50%)

Colonel E.H. Taylor Small Batch is a Bottled-in-Bond Kentucky straight bourbon from Buffalo Trace in Frankfort, bottled at 100 proof (50% ABV) in a 750ml bottle. It comes in a canister with a vintage-style label. The bourbon is named after Colonel Edmund Haynes Taylor, Jr., who bought the O.F.C. Distillery in Leestown in 1869. It was aged in century-old brick warehouses that Taylor built. Oak and dried fruit lead on the nose. The palate is caramel-corn sweet, with butterscotch, salted caramel and liquorice, and the soft finish turns to subtle pepper and tobacco spice.
