Connemara Peated Single Malt Irish Whiskey (70cl, 40%)

Connemara Peated is an Irish single malt in a 70cl bottle, bottled at 40% ABV. It is made from peated malted barley, which gives it a clear peat smoke set against malt sweetness and a gentle oak influence. Honey, malt and herbs sit alongside the smoke. Peated malt is less common in Irish whiskey, where many single malts are unpeated. On the nose, herbs and oak come with a faint trace of smoke. The palate is built on honey sweetness and malt, with aromatic peat smoke over the top. The finish is long, with smoke and malty notes lingering.
