Greenore 8 Year Old is a single grain Irish whiskey from Cooley Distillery, a small-batch expression now sold under the Kilbeggan label.
The nose brings smoky spice, oak, sandalwood and allspice, with orange zest and creamy vanilla, then caramel, honey and green apple skin. On the palate, sweet vanilla and caramel lead a creamy texture with white fruit, buttery oak, nutmeg, cloves, cinnamon and ginger. The finish is long and mellow, with sweet corn oil, cinnamon, nutmeg and a little black pepper.
