Cotswolds Signature Single Malt (70cl)

Cotswolds Signature Single Malt is an English single malt made at the Cotswolds Distillery from locally grown barley, which is traditionally floor-malted. The water comes from the village supply, filtered, softened and demineralised. Whiskies matured in two kinds of cask are married together: first-fill ex-bourbon barrels, and STR (shaved, toasted and re-charred) ex-red wine barriques. The first bring vanilla, honey and caramel, the second red fruit and a little spice. The nose is honeyed, with ripe red apples and a touch of citrus peel. On the palate, honey and Seville orange give way to marmalade and dark red fruits, and a hint of treacle stays on the finish.
