An 18 year old Craigellachie single malt, bottled by Cadenhead's at 46% in a 70cl bottle. The distillery is in Speyside and was built in 1891; Peter Mackie was one of its founders. Craigellachie has four stills, added in the 1964 renovation. Worm tubs, coiled copper pipes, condense the vapour, so the new make has little contact with copper and develops a robust flavour. The distillery draws its water from Blue Hill, where it once used the Hill of Little Conval.
