This Craigellachie single malt is from the 2012 vintage and was bottled by Signatory at a full 67.4% in a 70cl bottle. Craigellachie sits in Speyside and dates from 1891. The distillery has four stills following its 1964 renovation. Its worm tubs, coiled copper pipes that cool the vapour, mean the new make touches little copper, and the spirit gains a robust flavour from this. The water comes from Blue Hill, no longer from the Hill of Little Conval.
