A single malt from Craigellachie distillery in Speyside, from the 2008 vintage and bottled by Hunter Laing at 50% ABV in a 70cl bottle. The distillery was built in 1891 and now belongs to the Bacardi Martini group. A renovation in 1964 brought it up to four stills, and its water now comes from the Blue Hill. Worm tubs, spiral copper pipes, cool the vapour, so the new make has little contact with copper and develops a robust flavour.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
