A Craigellachie single malt from the 2005 vintage, bottled under the Long Valley name at 50% in a 70cl bottle. The distillery is in Speyside and was built in 1891, with Peter Mackie among its founders. It now belongs to the Bacardi Martini group. A renovation in 1964 brought the number of stills to four. Worm tubs, which are coiled copper pipes, cool the vapour, and the resulting limited copper contact leaves the new make with a robust flavour. Its water now comes from Blue Hill instead of the Hill of Little Conval.
