This Craigellachie single malt from the 2007 vintage comes in the Old Malt Cask range from Hunter Laing, at 50% in a 70cl bottle. Craigellachie is a Speyside distillery, built in 1891 and now owned by the Bacardi Martini group. Its 1964 renovation expanded the distillery to four stills. Cooling takes place in worm tubs, coiled copper pipes, which limit the new make's contact with copper and give a robust flavour. The water comes from Blue Hill rather than the Hill of Little Conval.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
