Cruz Bianco is a white port from the Douro in Portugal. It is pale straw in colour with golden glints.
The nose combines white fruit, citrus and a light floral touch with honey and vanilla. On the palate it is soft, its sweetness balanced by acidity, with fruity and floral flavours and a velvety texture leading to a long, aromatic finish.
It is best served chilled, at 8 to 10°C, as an aperitif or with light starters, fish and shellfish.
