This is a 12 year old Dailuaine single malt from Speyside, bottled by Cadenhead at 46% ABV in a 70cl bottle. Dailuaine takes its name from the Gaelic-derived words for green valley. It sits on the south bank of the Spey at Carron, near Aberlour, and was founded by William Mackenzie in 1851. Nearly all of its output was used in blends, chiefly Johnnie Walker. The distillery gained electric power in 1950 and went from four stills to six in 1960.
