Dailuaine – 2015 Best Dram #300904 (70cl, 55.6%)

This is a 2015 Dailuaine single malt in the Best Dram series from Michel Reick, bottled at 55.6% ABV in a 70cl bottle. Dailuaine stands in Speyside on the southern bank of the River Spey at Carron, close to Aberlour. William Mackenzie founded it in 1851, and the name means "green valley". The distillery's whisky was used almost completely in blends, above all Johnnie Walker. It was connected to electricity in 1950, and in 1960 it was converted from four stills to six.
