This Dailuaine from 2012 is a Speyside single malt bottled by Malts of Scotland at 57.1% ABV. It is sold in a 70cl bottle. Dailuaine means green valley. The distillery lies on the southern bank of the Spey at Carron, near Aberlour, and was founded in 1851 by William Mackenzie. Its whisky was used almost entirely in blends, above all Johnnie Walker. The distillery received electric power in 1950, and in 1960 it was rebuilt from four stills to six.
