This is a 5 year old Dailuaine single malt from Speyside, bottled under the Darkness label at 55.8% ABV. It comes in a 50cl bottle. Dailuaine, meaning green valley, lies on the southern bank of the Spey at Carron, near Aberlour. William Mackenzie founded it in 1851. For most of its history its whisky went into blends, mainly Johnnie Walker. Electricity arrived in 1950, and the still house grew from four stills to six in 1960.
