This is a 2011 Dailuaine single malt in the Best Dram series from Michel Reick, bottled at 55.9% ABV in a 70cl bottle. Dailuaine lies on the southern bank of the River Spey at Carron, near Aberlour in Speyside. It was founded in 1851 by William Mackenzie, and its name means "green valley". Nearly all of the distillery's output went into blends, chiefly Johnnie Walker. It received electricity in 1950, and in 1960 it was rebuilt to run six stills in place of four.
