This is a 2011 Dailuaine single malt bottled for Finest Whisky Berlin at 52.3% ABV, in a 70cl bottle. The distillery sits on the southern bank of the River Spey at Carron, near Aberlour in Speyside. William Mackenzie founded it in 1851, and the name Dailuaine means "green valley". Practically all of its whisky was used in blends, especially Johnnie Walker. The distillery gained electric power in 1950, and a rebuild in 1960 took it from four stills to six.
