This is a 2009 Dailuaine, a Speyside single malt from independent bottler Douglas Laing, at 55% ABV in a 70cl bottle. The distillery's name means green valley. It sits on the southern bank of the Spey at Carron, near Aberlour, and William Mackenzie founded it in 1851. Nearly all of its output was made for blending, mainly for Johnnie Walker. Electric power reached the distillery in 1950, and in 1960 it grew from four stills to six.
