A 15-year-old Highland single malt from Dalmore, distilled in 2008 and bottled in 2023 at 45.8%, in a 70cl bottle. It is a distillery bottling matured in ex-bourbon, Matusalem and PX casks. The ex-bourbon casks bring a fine vanilla note, the Matusalem casks a delicate sweetness, and the PX casks a dark fruit character.
The nose is sweet honey and brioche with ginger cake. The palate is full and balanced, with orange blossom honey and mandarin alongside exotic spices. The finish is long and spicy, with icing sugar, ginger and hints of cinnamon.
