Dalmore 18 Years Vintage 2006 is an official bottling of Highland single malt, released as part of the Vintages Collection. It was distilled in 2006 and bottled in 2024 at 47.2% ABV, non-chill-filtered and of natural colour.
The whisky matured in Oloroso sherry casks from Matusalem. It is described as rich and chocolatey, with Seville orange, dark chocolate and tobacco.
The nose brings sherry-soaked raisins, roasted figs, cedar and honey. Dark fruit woven with liquorice and cocoa leads the palate, before bergamot and blood orange appear. In the finish, old sherry notes linger with berries, liquorice, cassia bark and dark chocolate.
