A Dalmore single malt finished in tawny port casks, bottled by the distillery at 46.5% in a 70cl bottle. Dalmore stands in a remote position on the north shore of the Cromarty Firth, near Alness, in the northern Highlands. The distillery was founded in 1839 and has stored whisky in sherry casks since 1870, which are said to give its smoky, somewhat dry malt a gentle sweetness.
