Dartigalongue Armagnac Un-Oaked Blanche (75cl, 43.2%)

Dartigalongue Un-Oaked Blanche is an unaged Bas-Armagnac eau-de-vie that has never touched an oak barrel. It is bottled at 43.2% ABV in a 75cl bottle. It is made from Ugni Blanc, Baco 22A and Folle Blanche, distilled once in an Armagnacais column still to 58% vol. It then rests for at least three months in stainless steel while demineralised water brings it slowly down to strength. It belongs to the Armagnac Experience range, which is aimed at bartenders. The nose offers subtle pear, apple and white blossom. The palate is full, round and creamy, and the finish is of sweet almond. It can be served neat, on ice or with tonic.
