Daviess County Cabernet Cask is a Kentucky straight bourbon made from two grains and bottled at 48% ABV in a 75cl bottle. It is a limited edition.
After maturing in new charred oak, the bourbon is finished for six months in Cabernet Sauvignon barrels from Napa Valley.
The nose is described as honey, vanilla, caramel and toasted spice. The palate is soft and deep, with nuts, caramel and oak, and the finish is very long, warm and lightly spiced.
