Daviess County French Cask is a Kentucky straight bourbon made from four grains: corn, rye, wheat and malted barley. It is bottled at 48% ABV in a 750ml bottle.
After its initial maturation, the bourbon moves into new French oak casks for a further six months before bottling. The brand began in Daviess County and is now made at Lux Row Distillers.
The nose has honey, vanilla and fresh caramel. The palate is sweet and creamy, with chocolate. The finish is long, with intense French oak lingering in the aftertaste.
