Doc Swinson's 7 Year Old is a straight rye whiskey bottled in bond at 50% ABV, in a 75cl bottle. The whiskey comes from MGP in Lawrenceburg, Indiana, and was bottled by Doc Swinson's in Washington State. The mash bill is 95% rye and 5% malted barley, and the spirit spent seven years in new American oak. Bottled in bond refers to America's first consumer protection law, a principle the brand puts at the centre of how it labels its whiskeys. The nose is described as maple nut fudge, toast, cherry cola and caramel. On the palate come warm honey, clove, dried orange and gingerbread, and the finish is long and warming with a bitterness that builds.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
