Redemption Straight Bourbon Whiskey (75cl, 46%)

Redemption Straight Bourbon is distilled at MGP in Lawrenceburg, Indiana, from a mash bill of 75% corn, 21% rye and 4% malted barley. It is aged in new, charred American oak barrels and bottled at 46% ABV (92 proof) in a 75cl bottle, non-chill filtered. The strength was raised from the original 84 proof to 92, a change Master Blender Alan Kennedy says brings out vanilla, fruit, floral tones, cinnamon and deep oak. The rye content gives it more spice than many classic bourbons. The nose is honey, vanilla and toasted oak. The palate brings caramel, sweet corn, cinnamon and dried fruit. The finish is medium, with vanilla, oak and a lingering touch of corn sweetness.
