A single-barrel Indiana bourbon from MGP, bottled by the Scotch Malt Whisky Society as release B7.14 and named Gleatissimo. It was distilled on 19th December 2016 and aged for four years in a first-fill #4 char barrel, with 207 bottles produced.
The mash bill is 51% corn, 45% wheat and 4% malted barley, matured in new oak with a #4 char on the barrel and a #2 char on the heads.
The nose offers marzipan, whipped vanilla cream and brown sugar, with a little wood smoke and sweet tobacco. The palate shows orange oil, white pepper, cinnamon and a touch of black liquorice. With water, gorse, coconut, mango and toasted almonds appear, and the taste turns to chocolate chip ice cream.
