Double Eagle Very Rare 2019 (75cl)

Double Eagle Very Rare is a Kentucky straight bourbon from Buffalo Trace Distillery in Frankfort, taking the Eagle Rare programme to approximately 20 years of maturation, twice the age of Eagle Rare 10 Year. The 2019 release was the first Double Eagle Very Rare to be bottled, in a 750ml size. It comes in a hand-crafted crystal decanter with two sculpted crystal eagles, one inside the bottle and one forming the stopper. The nose is vanilla, toasted oak and caramel. The palate shows well-integrated oak with caramel, vanilla and dried fruit, and the finish is warm, long and clean.
