Drappier Carte d'Or Brut NV Champagne (37.5cl)

Carte d'Or is the flagship Champagne of Drappier, a family house founded in 1808 in Urville, in the Côte des Bar. This is a non-vintage Brut in a 37.5cl half bottle. The house farms 60 hectares of predominantly Pinot Noir on Kimmeridgian limestone, and is now in its eighth generation of family ownership. On the nose it shows toasted bread, yeast, orange peel, white peach and white flowers. The palate is full and creamy, with red cherry, nectarine and honeyed orchard fruit, kept focused by chalky acidity.
