Drappier Quattuor Blanc de Quatre Blancs Extra Brut Champagne NV (75cl)

Drappier Quattuor is a non-vintage Extra Brut Champagne from the Aube, made from the four white grapes that are rarely planted in Champagne. Arbanne, Petit Meslier, Blanc Vrai (Pinot Blanc) and Chardonnay are blended in equal parts, 25% each. The dosage is 4.2 g/L, and the wine is organic certified. The house was founded in 1808 in Urville, in the Côte des Bar, where its cellars were first built by Cistercian monks in the 12th century. The nose brings honeycomb, yellow orchard fruit, dried white flowers, marzipan and toasted walnuts. On the palate there are fresh citrus, honeyed apple and fig jam, with a long, crystalline finish.
