Drumshanbo Single Pot Still is a single batch Irish whiskey, triple distilled at The Shed Distillery in Drumshanbo, County Leitrim, and sold in a 70cl bottle.
The mash uses malted Irish barley, un-malted Irish barley and Irish Barra oats. The whiskey was aged in oloroso sherry casks and Kentucky bourbon casks.
The nose is rich, with warm pot spice, vanilla and dried fruit. The palate offers pot spice, fig, oloroso sherry and toasted oak. The finish is elegant and creamy, and it lingers for a good while.
