Dunvilles Peated Three Crowns Blended Irish Whiskey (70cl, 43.5%)

Three Crowns Peated is a blended Irish whiskey from Dunville & Co, made from selected aged malt and grain whiskeys. It is bottled at 43.5% in a 70cl bottle. Dunville and Co was founded in Belfast in 1808. The peat is kept light, a thread of smoke running through the blend rather than leading it. The nose carries the faintest phenol. On the palate there is light honey and mocha with smoke drifting through. The finish is long and slightly fruity, with stone fruit and sherry influence, then mocha and a last touch of smoke.
